I had a bike just like that. Even the same color. I rode it all through high school then gave it to my brother and he rode it for years. Great bike tough as nails

Hahahahaha....yes, I got a real good looking scar out of it too !! Good luck on the Wisconsin twin. I think most everthing is available for them yet. If not I have found the Predator engines to be pretty darn good for their price. I just changed out a 6 hpTecumseh for a Predator and it was a direct replacement. Bolt pattern, shaft height, length and diameter too. But those old Wisconsin's are real work horses. We had V-4's on a New Holland baler and one on a New Holland field chopper.

Hey Gator !! Good morning my Canadian Cajun friend..... I have to apologize for the absence. I've made dozens of videos this summer, but never seem to find the time to put them up. And I've not had the time to keep up with all you guys either. Waiting for wintertime so I can spend some quality KZbin catchup. Im not too concerned about the new tuber rules....I ain't ever gonna meet the minimums anyway so this is all about the fun. At least until it ain't fun any more. lolol First thing is to drop the carb in some cleaner and hook up a temporary tank. THEN I gotta find a 6v battery. That should be what goes in this thing and I believe it needs a little juice to produce a spark. I don't think its like the old dirt bikes with a mag that didn't need a battery at all.

Triple T Ranch & Sawmill Yes sir, I’ve thanked my daughter several times for her giving me the opportunity to rip my leg open on her project. Without that.... I wouldn’t have been making a trip to the doctor at the EXACT moment the old guy was pushing it out to the road !!! Turned out that he had sold and was moving so he gave me a LOT more good stuff too. Thanks for watching and commenting sir.

Yes, it's totally original and that's the way it'll stay. Barn fresh, and original title. Unusual.

Thank you for correcting yourself and saying "Charlie / Delta". I fell back in my chair and almost flew off the dang handle when I heard charlie-david. I was gonna drive all the way over to your place or call the nearest Marine Corps Reserve center and ask them to send out a fire team. So did you ever get her fired up? I'll check out the other vids and see if you did a follow-up. Big thumbs up. 👍

Hahahahaha I realized my mistake INSTANTLY and felt the need to correct lest my honor and integrity as a semi-respected former member of the ranks be questioned. Now, there's at least one thing that can be used as an excuse, lame as it may sound.... but admittedly I only spent 4 years in active duty (mostly my duty was 'inactive' due to the particular MOS and duty stations lol) then my career path took me down the wayward walkway as that of a commercial HVAC service tech. Now mind you the old squawk boxes they called radios back in the day would be considered trash by todays tools of communication so the dispatchers were ALL very... uuuuuhhhhh....shall we say 'clever and resourceful' in their respective ways to get us to understand clearly the names and addresses of the next service call. In 42 years of civilian dispatcher talk, I don't think I heard a dozen times the correct call signs. Foxtrot ?....how about Fred, Frank, yes even Frauline. Delta?...how about David, Dog, or Daisey. Oh my gosh...the list is so long and sometimes hilarious !!! BTW, not ONE had ever heard Zulu.....That's my story and I'm stickin' to it !! lololol Side note, when I rolled out of the rack this morning the first thing I saw on the phone messages was your comment. Now the wifey is, shall we say, slightly irritated at me for interrupting her morning a little early with the very audible guffaw reflexively let loose. "WHAT in the h*ll are you laughing at so darn EARLY in the morning", to quote her first loving words of the day. hahahahahaha. By the way, on the little scooter, I have it all soaking internally and standing in line. Currently there is an 84 Honda VT 500 Ascot on the lift then the next will be a carb job on a 97 Valkyrie. Thank you immensely for your calling my attention to a momentary mental fault and thank you for the hilarious comment !!! Dang Don, next thing you know I'm gonna be thanking a cop for that speeding ticket......

Well said. I am, without a doubt, fortunate to have run into you to enjoy every moment of your bullcrap that I'm gonna sign-up for another career-hitch just to start this $@*% all over again.... LoL Hey, make sure you tell the Misses, howdy and deepest respect and apologies for messing up her sleep. I'm outta here and gonna try and get a little outdoor work done. Are you retired yet? Later brutha.

How is the cd175 coming along?
@tractorman44615 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry but I missed notification of your comment. No I have only had time to get the engine internals soaking and I've been spraying all the external moving parts repeatedly with PB Blaster etc. There's two bikes in line before this one so it'll be a little while. There will be a video though. Thank you for taking the time to watch and for commenting !
@monman81835 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the reply. I was interested as I had picked up a CD175 myself. Total restoration required. Engine was seized. Any way it's been five months now and I'm nearly done. Re-bored and new pistons. Started second kick. Good luck with yours!

Hey man did you ever get it going?
@tractorman44614 жыл бұрын
I've keep all the stuck parts sprayed with Rust Buster to minimize potential damage to hard to find parts when it goes on the lift. There's been a few others come and go in the meantime. Thanks for the interest.
