Beautiful build mate, been great following the journey. Only thing I’d change is the rear wheels, they just look too small IMO but that’s minor. All in all its looks awesome. You should be proud of that paint job 👌🏻

Awesome looking build. As for the air cleaner. I'd keep the one you're currently using, it looks right there, but add the 5 litre sticker to it.

Man that is one killa car done an exceptional job on the resto. Only thing i didnt like is the silver slr5000 paint id personaly prefer it black. But its not my car and doesnt matter wat i think. Great job bro love the old toranas. I got a mate with a genuine A9X hatch been sitting in the garage 10-15 yrs.

She,s a beaut Blake I'm sure it's better than new ,the paint finish looks amazing ,i remember how funny they looked with the flares ,as I mentioned a mate of mine had a black and white one new in 77,he put 14x8 magnum ,s on the rear and 14x7 on the front made it look nasty,problem back then the cops would do you for over width track ,so we spent a lot of time swapping wheels around LOL. Again well done ,really hope you get another project offered to you I've gotten hooked on the channel ,😊😊 Kym Adelaide

Looks great, are you going to get bigger rear tyres they look a bit small on flared guards, I noticed your tyres a 225 My orange Torana has no flares and my rear Tyres are 235 on the rear. But over all you and your dad must be proud of your efforts. Well done congratulations 🎉

nice job... personally I would have done the slr 5000 in black... seems out of place to be honest in silver, and i would have done all the black work in gloss, is mising the slr 5000 down the side... I thought A9X was plain, never had slr5000... confused.. ... but hey, every ones different... well done man, the orange looks beautiful... how much did you steal this car for when it was green...just curious

The best & most easy result I’ve had with them is pressure pack; motor spray “wheel silver” acrylic, comes out great and is a simple easy approach, quick result too.

Mate has a A9X 2 Door ? Been sitting outside with carpet and shit stacked on top of it. It had a 550 hp 350 chev. But 100% A9X the sad part is he doesn’t care about it !! But will not see it. It’s got to be worth $50k as is.Whats an original A9X in good order go for these days.but what a waste by my mate. I’m a ford man 100% but that A9X he has breaks my heart. Manul red and black 3 door SLR ? I assume not sure but so fkg sad.

The sad part is there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. The guy couldn’t afford to look after the A9X wich was I believe given to him through family 20 years ago. Well it’s not an A9X but looks great so good job. Glad you didn’t fit stupid shit 20 inch rims or drop it on its diff. My first car was an LX SS hatch 308 manual. The whole family has always had holdens. Sandmans XU1s statesman’s caprices VKs VLs VCs had them all including 3 A9Xs with one still in the family with only 40.000 klm. The first batch of A9Xs ran the super tall 2.6 diff ratio which with an M21 manual was good for 100 Kph in first gear. The second batch ran the trusty 3.08 ratio. Undisputed KING of Australian touring cars and the results speak for themselves.
