It actually wasn’t instant. I remember wondering if they even liked the renovations because Ghost used to sleep there but stopped after it was changed. This all happened a while ago, and the kestrel chicks have grown up and fledged, and after going back and forth between the Tower and the Sycamore, Willow finally laid 4 eggs in the Sycamore (where the kestrels were). Gylfie has 5 new eggs now too, a second brood! (I watch the livestreams so that’s how I know all this.)

It’s truly interesting to see willow attacking Mrs.Kes’s nest. I was so truly frightened previously when this was shown from Mrs. Kes’s perspective previously. It seems mothers do have stronger will. I bet willow is this tough now too sitting on her precious eggs.

4:12 there was also a visit of Willow in the nest, when all Kestrel chicks were hatched. No kestrel parent at home, she just looked into the nest. The chicks were sleeping. Somehow creepy ;)
