Shortly after this new barn owl was spotted courting a female in Ash Wood, he began scraping out a potential hollow for eggs in my Ash Tree nest box.

whenever i see a picture of a barn owl, they always got the beak pointing down its interesting to see them eat or grab stuff, beak pointing straight....like are they always lowering their head, or can the beak angle move up and down?

I have a question that I would appreciate help with. Towards the end of the clip, he is standing on only one leg and looks to be going to sleep. Is it common for barn owls to stand on one leg as he is doing? Thank you.
