Great to get one from ya Bob! Steve is a real hoot to watch and he has had some excellent videos lately. Hey, wanted to ask- the bright white dots left on the barn wall after you shot the pigeons/starlings......is that heat from the pellet impact or from the birds blood or both or what. I saw some blood spray happen in the thermal, but those dots really stand out. Being it is dark out, they can't be from light coming through the pellets pass through hole I wouldn't think. Yeah, that is the heat signature front the pellet lodged in the wood, that's how bob and I sighted in the gun st my house one night we shot a peice of wood than used that heat signature as our aiming point.

Great vid Bob, glad to see some more content from you bud. I need a night vision scope to take out some rats in my chicken coop, the Thermion is a bit pricey though...any suggestions? ATN?

Ive got an ATN and I love it. It works magnificently, the battery lasts forever, and its got very decent quality image. I highly recommend them for the price. When shooting at 100 yards and further I suggest a better IR setup than what is supplied with the scope. But out to 100 yards the supplied IR light is just fine. You wont regret it.

None......500fps 18gr into 1" thick barn boards. You can see the pellets embedded into the wood. Any holes would show as black and not white.
