for suure, man. after the flush i placed my temperature gun next to the engine & big difference. it is a better cleaning method than taking the heat exchanger a part, replacing the gasket etc. try it and post back your results. Good luck my bro

I believe removal of zinc (if installed) will be important prior to flushing.

Interesting idea. Do you mean the zinc on the engine mount or the zinc on the propeller shaft (under the water)

Typically, there is a zinc “pencil” screwed into the heat exchanger and the barnacle buster will erode that zinc if not removed in advance. I do think this video method for pumping it through the entire cooling system is best.

I use concentrate but same method words for the regular version as well

Not a good idea to immerse and closed system. The descaling process generates gases and needs to be released.

Its true gases are released but if you keep the area well ventilated with air circulation is fine. The closed loop system was suggested by the manufacturer as the preferred secondary flushing method
