I love Barnes &Noble....I love books and planner items. I am slowly building a home library. It's easier for me to read from a book. Ebooks are nice but they just lack the art work of a book....tfs

thank you for this walk thru with you of Barnes and Nobles, it has been about 14 yrs since I've stepped foot in one and I loved it so much when my daughter and I would go sit down with a drink and read books in there. Good memories in that store.

I tried to go twice a month, I have a membership so I get deals online. When my kids were little I used to order grade subject workbooks: English, math, reading, sometimes science. For 2 hours during the summer they would have to do 3 Pages, yes even when we traveled, they had work. The good thing about was they were not far behind in subject matter in school. Plus they established good study habits, you could work on things they were having problems with. Now most Barnes and Nobles have the cafe; you can take a cache of books, magazines sit at a table have a delicious latte, ice tea or fruit drink kick back and read. I like to do this as a early morning me time activity. Cause I love to read, and I can’t afford to bring everything home. I have kindle also, so I’m reading several things at one time. My husband knows that when it gets quiet I’m reading. He even came to Barnes and Noble after his shock sat down at the table order a hot apple cider with a bun proclaiming that this is better than going to the library.

I might need to make a book run.. Last time I did i spent almost $200 on the complete works of Edgar Alan Poe, H.P. Lovecraft, Fairytales of Hans Christian Anderson ( he wrote the original Little Mermaid) , and Grins Fairytales ( all complete works) I get my journals from the dollar store, I use them for Qoutes, lyrics and lines from books I want to remember

She is helping support capitalism and the freedom for ,we the consumer, to see what these stores carry and we then make up our own mind to see what we need/want. Plus, I believe she finds joy in going to stores and sharing what she finds. It's like we're friends with her! This is her hobby or one of them. I think there are other things that would be the death of this country but thats a different conversation. Good question though!

@@klhlime , I live a rather good life that I dont deserve. In my home we have a zero balanced budget and have paid off all debt. I'm trying to understand your frustration. I do believe a person can be a consumer without debt. Unfortunately, that's not always the case in the states and our government or lots of places really. Anyhow, I find her videos relaxing to my ears with the sounds and her voice.

No hate? I think we likely have different definitions of the word. Perhaps one of her Dollar Tree videos would be more to your taste since it appears as though you have issues with 'consumerism'. I love listening to her voice because it is so relaxing. I could not care less where she is shopping; I am so glad to have discovered this channel!
