I was FINALLY able to get this Chronicles of Narnia edition for a whopping $28 on eBay the other day. Hasn't even arrived yet but I'm so excited😂 Never give up the search!!! Also, beautiful collection you have!! Love collecting these❤ I have so many that I just recently ran out of room on my bookshelf😬 #ihaveaproblem

I'm glad you managed to get it ^_^ I got lucky too and found it on ebay. It's definitely worth checking regularly. My bookshelf is full now lol I've moved onto boxes under my bed haha. I have a small collection of signed books under there.

I actually had to spend $80 on the chronicles of narnia. Narnia barnes and Noble leatherbound edition has been sold out since 2010, so I was told. That is 10 years ago, I found the book on eBay for $100-$400. That is crazy, $80 is actually the cheapest one I could find.

Yes I believe Narnia was discontinued so you're very lucky to find it. They seem to be releasing the same books with different covers at the moment so I haven't bought any more for awhile. I am looking at the chinese fairytales book but that's not out until next year.

YOU ARE SO LUCKY!! That Narnia book is GORGEOUS!!!!!! I wish I could have such a book!! $80 is amazing!! I've seen listings for this book over $1000 now! I dont know why the discontinued it - its such a beautiful cover!!

Hi, Thanks for your comment. The shipping can be quite expensive and sometimes worth looking around first because it can be cheaper to buy from Amazon or Ebay. Also UK do not pay VAT on books so that makes shipping a bit cheaper. We have shops here that sell a few for £17 each. The Aesop, Grimm, Hans Christian Andersen and fairytales from around the world are fantastic books. They have beautiful covers and plenty of illustrations and the stories at times (especially Hans Christian Andersen) don't have the happy ending and cheerful atmosphere of a Disney film haha I was surprised how morbid some of his stories are. Alice in Wonderland book I would recommend too :) I love Alice in Wonderland and this has everything in it. If you want to see any of the books in more detail let me know and I will post another video. I was going to do this one again as the picture is a bit narrow (think it may just be my phone though) Thanks for your comment :-)

My local Barnes and Noble store in Michigan has many of these books. I have Swiss Family Robinson, Oliver Twist, and Great Expectations from that publisher. All of those books are beautiful-- especially the covers!

I have The Vampire Chronicles and The Star Wars Trilogy and The Dracula and other horror classics book, i prefer hardcover books because they last longer than paperback

Thanks for your comment Digvijay :-) I have a book coming next week too. I will post a new video possibly next week as I've bought 8 books since then I'll try and sort it so the picture is bigger too. I agree it's nice to see the books in detail and inside before buying.

man, them books are so expensive in UK here in US you can buy these for $15 each + 8% tax (brand new in shrink wrap) they do look nice but , did you see Sherlock Holmes and Jules Verne ? they put so much in it (all sherlock h. and 7 JV novels) that there is no single illustration in them, print is small, and pages are kind of thin , on the top of that made in China. Never buy brand new book, you lose so much money. Ebay is away to go where you can find (if patient) Easton, Folio , Franklin in like new condition for quarter of the retail price

Oh I buy most from barnes noble :-) no tax on books in UK. In UK shops like Waterstones they are expensive but ebay and amazon do a little cheaper so it's important to work out the cheapest option and take advantage of any half price offers at barnes noble cos that makes up for postage. I don't have Sherlock but seen it lacks pictures. The Shakespeare one is the same but some have beautiful pictures. I think the bible they have is beautiful I will post a video including it very soon.

Amazing collection, thank you for this review. I wish we had these here in Italy. I was considering buying some of these, but they cost more than 35$ each if you want them shipped internationally. I was thinking of buying just some of them, like Shakespeare, Aesop and Grimm, along with Lovecraft. Which ones would you recommend? :) Thanks again !
