There are a few 3 door ones left, not sure on the number of 1.3 and 1.6 ghias though, in total I'd guess there's less than 10, I'll be starting the recommission in January on mine so hopefully back on the road early spring, yours looks tidy too 👍

@escorthq5060 from my researching over the years there was one other 1982 1.3 2 door ghia left (there are quite a few 4 door ones tho )when I saw yours come to light then I assumed that was the other 👍🏻 .. mine is quite original and 91,000 miles was a 2 lady owner car I daily mine 🫣 rain or shine be prepared to get thumbs up everywhere you go lol Going off you cycling videos you ride close to where I live too lol

@@grahamkay6142 not sure how far to go with it tbh, all the suspension is coming off, probably looking at full engine bay and underside detail, I'm guessing yours is titan blue, you're doing well running as a daily 👏

@escorthq5060 yes I think its titan blue I've put brand new dizzy new fuel pump and new carb bigger radiator just for peace of mind , timing belt snapped 2 weeks ago lol only done 4000 miles on that belt .luckily 4 years ago I bought a brand new original 1.3 engine in a crate so a few days later was up and running again , I sort ov did all the underside of mine new brake lines, petrol lines ,brakes, rubbers ,suspension ,gear selector bushes treated and painted etc etc but left the top half original because i dont garage it and so im not scared of scratching it even tho mot exempt I still mot it , good job too even tho the flexy pipes was new one bust while it was at the mot station (don't know how they did it lol ) so I would recommend braided instead of the rubber flexes it drives nice but when it's to hot it's like a green house so I sometimes wimp out and jump in a car with A.C lol p.s I also put adjustable bottom track control arms to get rid of the factory negative camber this made a big difference to how it drives too

Lucky having the spare engine, I doubt there's many people daily these due to value, mine hasn't moved since it was delivered as I haven't changed the belt, need to get cracking, cheers for the reply 👍

Nice...a German one..they had better quality controls in Germany...compared to the English made ones.....those pye ear shaggers were all the rage back then...

Yeah, shell has survived very very well, not sure on the speakers though, it doesn't have kick panel speakers so I'd guess never had a radio or had a p21 with dash speaker only

Not sure it had a radio from new, ariel would be on the drivers wing, if you look it's on the passenger side and the wings are original
