wow, never seen anything like it... and the recorded sound ( not so much the music ) was a great touch. Bravo, a work of Art.

I was 18 y.o. and did my A levels at North Devon College, up the Sticklepath hill. Being a foreigner in UK, Barnstaple gave me a first expression of a gloomy England. The news then was about Jeremy Thorpe scandal. I vividly remember walking up to Herton Farm. Besides Hills View , I also had lived near Trafalgar lawn. Beside Chequers, where we watched Saxon performed, it is kind of a boring place for an 18 y.o. kid. I am now living in SE Asia, but still longing for news about Barnstaple. All the best, Stay Safe, People of Barnstaple.

That is a very clever video, perfect.👍 Lots of views of Barnstaple I've never seen before, and the speed of the vehicles and people gave a better idea of the rhythum of the place. Most noticeable was The Square, which is actually a circle and Long Bridge, which could now be renamed Short Bridge.

What a nice video. I used to live here but moved 25,000 miles away, but if you go in the opposite direction it's only 5 miles away......... which is weird.

That is amazing work. It would be interesting to see a video of Barnstaple like this with the route of the old railways super imposed somehow... I was quite shocked when somebody first showed me some old pictures, not sure how you'd do it though.

If you look through my channel Joseph you will see some work commissioned by the railway and the route.

What shops are in Barnstaple

Barnstaple town centre is now full of rough sleepers, foreigners, drunks , beggers and closed shops. Sad
@chriscatullo3 жыл бұрын
Well sad for those who have to sleep rough or ask for money at a tough part of their life yes.... That can't not be easy... As in other places also. Shops closing in many places and honestly I think with the Internet that always was the case.... Unless business rates are dropped or subsidised.

@@chriscatullo Yes indeed but there is now more than ever. People living in bushes and on boats with no sanitary conditions and leaving rubbish everywere. Something needs to be done. These day drinkers often get angry when refused money too
