He was a good person, I agree. All of his problems came from being a mama's boy! His dad worked and his mom took care of everything. He was brought up that way so calling him a deadbeat wasn't correct. He worked and earned great money to support his family. Debra, in the other hand, was terrible at cooking and cleaning, not to mention vain.

Debra should have been with Robert. I feel like Robert even though people thought he was odd looking and awkward. I feel like for them to get such a ugly actress to play his wife was a terrible move. No offense to Monica who played Amy. But dang some of her facial expressions are terrible! When Debra was late, she lost all her credentials and credibilities. She was vain! I absolutely detest people who were inconsiderate then later acting all nice and making empty promises not to do it again. Ray already expressed himself earlier when Debra was late to the movie that being on time was very important to him and she should have respected that!

Imagine being in a relationship with a person that whenever you make plans together and set a time, that person makes you late. Ray is always after his wife physically, and she swats at his nose like a dogg begging for treats. She uses the upkeep of the house as an excuse, yet chooses to refuse the help from the grandmother. That night was special to him, and she still could not stifle her own feelings/pride to be early or on time. This is the epitome of selfish, but not surprising. He must be punctual with the money to pay the bills, and to support her financially and emotionally. But she gets to be late whenever she wants, and he has to accept it because he loves her? GTEFOH. I'm glad he left her at home, and he should have never apologized for it.
