Listened this song 15 times in a row the other day. Feeling it in my core. The way John sings every song like his life depends on it is something you can't train or develop no matter how much you try. Also, kudos to Gina. Great voice color to complement John's vocals and brilliant choice of harmony melodies to enrich this masterpiece!

I'd Do Anything If you pull gently I'd fall right back into line again You help me check myself and all that I surround It was moments ago Knew exactly what to say Spill it on the ground The words forever gold and grey When I make my escape Will I get soaked up by the rain? I am selfish, I am wrong I'm scared to be alone Every aching joint breaking at the bone I'd do anything to feel like I'm alive again I'd do anything to feel like I'm alive I would do anything to feel like I'm alive again I'd do anything, anything The world keeps burning slow It's back into the fire again You keep me low but I am High above the ground No, you didn't miss a word You know exactly what I said I lost myself when I love my enemy I'd do anything to feel like I'm alive again I'd do anything to feel like I'm alive I would do anything to feel like I'm alive again I'd do anything, anything

Baroness thank you for staying true to yourselves. You have helped me so much through the years. From the first time I heard Isaak, I was hooked. Gold and Grey is truly a masterpiece, and its hard to decipher because they all have their place, but its definitely a possible Magnum Opus (this far)!. You guys keep driving me forward. Thank you John Dyer Baizley for everything you do, you've changed my life for the better, and also helped reintroduce me to my visual arts - I'm very influenced by that man and an influence of mine and possibly his, Alphonse Muchu. Long live BARONESS!
