You and your crew sound like the perfect bunch to play Barotrauma with. It's genuinely entertaining listening to the banter (and panic, ofc) in these videos. Have you ever thought of putting the fear of Europa (/god/deep/somethingScary.jpg) in them by installing the Real Sonar/Neurotrauma mods? Just for the sake of EXTRA chaos. Also Barotraumatic.

Thanks! I'd like to try some fear-inducing mods soon. Barotraumatic is a must 👌 Unfortunately we rely a lot on bots which make some unfeasible. They've destroyed many a sub while using the Hazerdous Reactors mod.

Well, if you're willing to risk a bit of stupidity, Real Sonar and/or Neurotrauma add a massive level of chaos, especially early on when you're not used to them, and are (somewhat) viable to use with bots. If you want to mitigate the bots being braindead, there's a pseudo-solution - Multiplayer Crew Manager. It allows you to possess bots as a player like you would in singleplayer, so you can stop them from doing REAL stupid shit (and check on them from afar without having to try and herd them like the headless chickens they usually are. Downside? Mod tends to be a bit dodgy on occasion with respawns.
