I really wish they'd add a small steel piece into those cartridges so you can find and pick them up with a magnet.

Besides the metal spacer up front that can hang up, can be shaken out with out taking the front screw out. The breach end of the barrel should be indicated by a small groove that holds the rubber breach adapter on the barrel. Fun gun for sure !

that is one sweet rifle and a tack driver Barra did a great job on this one. l hope Barra can make metal receiver's for the pump gun's as an option for the customer.

Nice tutorial and nice rifle, Agree with you on the blued version, the gold is a little too "blingy" for my taste and the blued looks more suited to the period. Just one question, are the shells compatible with the Schofield revolver? If so, it would save me a bit of money as I already have quite a few on hand. Thanks 👍

if your schofield is setup with the 22 barrel then it uses the same cartridges as the 1866 with the 22 barrel. thats the setup I have and they interchange great.

Question: a break barrel 16" in .22 gives more FPS than the same 16" in .177. Is this also true with co2 or PCP guns? Just wondering..

22 gives more FPE but slower FPS all things being equal as far as power plant

Most of the components seem to be exactly the same as the Umarex version, do you think that the rifled barrels (at least in .177) could be compatible?

I have the caldwell G2 and it is nice, but I wish it didn’t get so many errors!

yes at least for now. eventually I would like to get the rifled 177 barrel to test out too.
