Barrel blue with Birchwood Casey blue kit

My 2 cents....I worked my finish to 5k sand paper, polished it with 555 polish o ray... I used the same kilt as you did..I did multiple coats to achieve a dark blue without any rainbow or streaks .I did not use the steel wool.. used a paper towel to pull the matte finish off..turned out nice ..used the barricade rust prevention as soon as it it dried...looks awesome..not all metals blue the same... happy. Shooting !!

Impressive elbow grease on that barrel. Doing the same for the first time on an old Colt 25 pistol that is tiny.

The old super blue was better...worked way faster...but one drop on anything else...ie countertop, kitchen sink .was there forever....hahah thie Perma blue reminds me of the oxbow...kinda weak at first....

Yeah, that happens. I think you'll find when editing a video it's harder to adjust the volume for all devices than it would at first seem. But hey - thanks for the feedback!
