Mason, such an amazing talent and just so very fun to watch and study too. His style from his natural DNA from an unbelievable hard changing surfer, and the influences of other's early rippers like, Larry and Buttons, and all these clips ive seen of this very cool kid, young man i should say, and how very cool and humble he sounds and his smile is that of pure Aloha in every sense of the word, and I saw this one clip, there's an absolute pumping south and Ala Bowls is practically maxing out, and just incredible out there, and Mason's looking around driving while this part of the clip is showing, and his mom happens to call. Very sweetly answers to his mom, and mom says he has work to do at home, and he basically asked his mom with such love and respect for his mom, asking her kinda, if its okay that he goes for a surf, and a quick surf mind you too, and would've easily driven back home had mom not said okay, but don't forget about whatever he needed to do back home, which he sounded like he would've in a second had his mom really put her foot down on this. But of course understandably understood that the way he described the conditions, surfing will come first, but to not forget about home responsibilities to his mom, like a very well raised young man would be. Besides watching the power surfers of JBG, Sunny and others, Mason is definitely my absolute favorite surfer to watch and how he surfs places that before, nobody would surf, because of how close to rocks and reef, and how much fun, and how extremely well he surfs just these head high sketchy and barreling waves, needling threw almost inches away from real punishment, with such skill and technical techniques to surf such waves is beyond amazing!! Even how he falls, is an incredible acrobatic skill unlike anyone else!! A great loving person to his family and friends, an amazing talent to watch, and just a fantastic role model to the younger ones looking up to him and studying his surf skills, but also, definitely take note of his character as a wonderful humble person, who just epidimizis Aloha and O'Hana as one...a purist of what it means to be Hawaiian 🤙
