Chris first of thank you for sharing your day on the water. In this very drama filled day wow talk about reaching some extreme emotions! There is nothing wrong with it, it shows that you are competitive and want to do well with every cast and every catch! Every time you try and compete at the highest level and I respect those reactions! What I really appreciate is you took a moment from fishing turned yourself away from your seat regroup, refocus and sent a prayer that’s what a really true man does he doesn’t quit! What a finish awesome job grinding to the end remembering what you needed to do and accepted that challenge! Tight lines take care and God bless!❤

Thanks man! Sometimes fishing is not as easy as most people think it is. It’s a true mental game. I thought about taking some of that out, but was called to show my true emotions on this day. Appreciate your continued support!

Oh man I could feel the pain on those lost fish then you reach out and snatch that one as it spits the hook!!!

Watching reach out that far to net that fish as big as you are really shows the stability of that unlimited.. really surprised you didn't flip.. being a big guy like you makes lean towards buying the unlimited..

You should definitely get out and demo one if you can! You won’t regret it! It’s one if not the most stable kayak on the market. Of course I do have bias though so keep that in mind lol

Idk what kinda jigs you throw that you don’t hafta set the hook with and start reeling?? First time viewer and I owned a jig company and lived on that lake for 7 years with several 20+ bags on jigs. First thing..move those rods behind you from vertical to laying back at 9 o’clock so you can put the wood to them jig fish and not worry about hitting rods behind you. I watched several of your jig fish (lost and caught) and you never drop the rod tip towards the fish and remove slack. You do 3 handle cranks and lift the rod over your head. My man you’re not putting power to the hook point. Just my observations.

You’re spot on. When I was watching myself editing this video I thought that exact same thing. I’m gonna have to make some adjustments with my hook set and I do believe it starts with the vertical poles because that’s always in the back of my mind. Appreciate the feedback and thanks for watching. Hopefully I’ll show you some more powerful hook sets in the future.
