I was diagnosed with Barrett's Esophagus and Gerd ( acid reflux) which I've had gerd since early childhood. I've been tried on many medications but the only one that works for me is nexium. I also have a hiatus hernia and also gastritis. Also for a couple years now ( and it's got worse) my throat has been going into spasms and food, water and i can't even swallow when it gets stuck in my throat and it's painful and dysphagia and they're is nothing i can do until it stops on it's own. The last time i had an endoscopy done my throat went into spasms as well when i was getting the endoscopy done. It happens at home and i never know when it's going to happen. Recently the Doctor added a new medication another one for heartburn and i already take nexium to. They're sending me to another GI specialist in my area and they scheduled another endoscopy to try and figure out why stuff gets stuck in my throat and to see why my throat goes into spasms. I'm not overweight and ive never been overweight and i have always eaten a healthy diet because I've had my gallbladder removed many years ago and i don't eat anything fried at all and still can't eat salads and i haven't drank anything with carbonated water in it like soda since I've been a kid. I don't lie flat down i have to prop myself up so they're going to do another endoscopy soon i have to see the GI specialist to get another referral because the one i had expired i have many health issues going on unfortunately but hopefully i will get some answers soon and they can help me get better somehow. Thanks for the video and God Bless all and hope everyone is doing well.

I'm only 33yrs old. I've had 40cms of Barrett's since I was 22yrs old due to a Sliding Hernia that kept allowing my stomach to slide into my throat literally right under my chest plate. This also caused my stomach to be the size of someone who was 9 months pregnant and everytime the top portion of my stomach would go into my Oesophagus it made the whole that is supposed to shut after food or liquids to pass through to stay open 24/7 and I was throwing about about 17x a day. I even had reflux surgery done but bc they wrap your stomach around your oesophagus this really doesn't allow you to burp and now im constantly bloated and eat once a day and that and that small food i eat takes forever to digest so I bloat all the time even if I just had some water. Its truly horrible how I feel and I'm booked for another surgery for it.

Thank you for your video. I just opened and read a letter from the hospital from my gastroscopy, that I have a chronic inflammation in my gastrointestinal tract, and I read the phrase "Barret's Esophagus" in the files. The letter say's that this could lead to cancer, something quite depressing to think of, since I'm only 44 years old. I quit smoking, because I was worried about a pain in the chest, but I figured out that the feeling of pain, even if it got a bit better, is still there after a couple years with no tobacco now, and it's horrible to lie down to sleep, and I've had to not only use a pillow, but also the whole duvet blanket on top of the pillow and sleeping partly in "uphill". I suddenly had to get an evening and a night in the hospital a couple of months ago, filling two huge bags of blood plasma into my veins, and they wondered where I had lost so much blood, but no answer of that question. I hope I won't die in too short a time, because I have a son that needs me. I wonder if there's anything I can do to prevent this thing developing into cancer. I've had a habit of eating heavy, fatty meals, drinking cola, smoking half my life (but at least stopped that one), having quite a bit of spices etc. I've been a cheese addict since early childhood. I've noticed when I eat salads I feel much better, and I wonder if there's other things beside lettuce that can help me?

I have been having difficulty swallowing for over a year now. It feel as though the food get stuck in my throat making it difficulty to breath. And in some cases the food come right back up, and will not go down at all. According to them what they see isn't causing my symptoms. It have been draining to go through this. It was especially rough to me on last year. Majority of doctor's treated me like it was just in my mind, and I was just exaggerating and tripping. I praise and thank God that HE blessed me to get better and get liquids down at least. But at one point I couldn't get ANY liquids or food down whatsoever. I'm truly a living, breathing, walking, and talking miracle. I pray that I hang in there and don't give up in Jesus name, and I pray that ALL goes well for myself and other people that have illness/sicknesses. And that there is a proper diagnosis and treatment for our issues. So, that true healing and deliverance can take place in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ of NAZARETH. The name above ALL names. AMEN.

Thats why you get reflux surgery that fixes this. I appreicate and respect the praying but praying alone sometimes doesn't always help. I've got 40cms of Barrett's and Stageb4 GORD. Surgery helped with the Acid but not the bloating. I lost my adrenal gland to a tumor that ate the organ. I hope your all better now.

@HelloYoutube89 Жыл бұрын
@@TheRealCaliStar I've got about 8cms of Barrets which isn't good and you cannot reverse Barrets so its just a matter of time until cancer comes. Barrets is pre cancer cells staging and starting. So your throat walls when your stomach acid burns it, creates the barrets. I recommend to anyone and everyone to go get a Endoscopy done especially if you got servers or even mild heart burn and you throw up abit because you cannot fix it once it's done.

Thank God for you the VA never explained, any of this shit. I have been dying (not literally) for the the pass year. I also have a sight bulk disc between C5 and C6 and they tried to tell me it was causing all of my burning neck symptoms. Absoulsly shit they are. I've been doing my own research found out I had GERD some time last year also which they gave me PPI to deal with and when ever I eat. It is over. So I appreciate this break as no one and I mean no one has explained it to me like this. Thank you for filling the gap in for VA's evil long wait times.

Has anyone tried Serrapeptase to heal the scar tissue? In theory, Serrapeptase dissolves all dead protein inside the body, especially scars. People had a lot of success with other scar tissues including blocked arteries, so in theory, it should work on Barrett's syndrome too, because it is scar tissue. Please if someone tried post the results. Not medical advice..
