Barrett Street Marsh Conservation - Summer Highlights (June -- August 2023)

Four minutes of summer wildlife highlights from the cherry tree trunk in the Barrett Street Marsh Conservation Area in Northampton, Massachusetts.
This 25-acre natural area is surrounded by development and has a 200+ year history of manipulation and alteration by people--dredging, filling, and more. In 1974 it was set aside as a conservation area by the City of Northampton and during the last 50 years, it has become an important "island" of habitat for wildlife.
