The more I come across old clips of Madeline singing the more I am amazed that she did not become a major international solo star .She had it all , a sublime voice, a warm, engaging and charismatic personality and she always dressed with such innate taste and style - not always easy to pull of with 60s & 70s fashions I think ! Yet Madeline always looked great .She nailed it every time . She should write a book about her amazing life and the amazing people she worked with ...and who were lucky enough to work with her too . What an amazing book that would be .

"Count Me IN" was my favourite Blue Mink single. They were great writers, singers and musicians and looked good too. Good to see she's doing so well. Love her English accent. Can't wait to hear more of her show biz stories.

I can remember back in the 1980's dearest Jonathan invited me to see Madeline perform at Ronnie Scotts, I was blown over by her singing, her stage presence, her energy and how much fun she has on stage, I have been a fan ever since . Legends don't come around much these days, but Madeline is the real deal and deserves the title "LEGEND". Thank you for this interview

I grew up listening to Miss Madeline Bell back in the day. She was a huge inspiration to me as a young child. Some years ago, she was on one of the flights I was operating as cabin crew and she very kindly signed and presented me with one of her autograph cards and told me, I was completely professional and friendly and she appreciated my service. When I realised it was her, I completely froze mid motion and tears fell out my eyes. She still is amazing……🥰

I have Madeline's Doin' Things and an expanded version of Bell's A Poppin' albums from the 60s and they are amazing, why she didn't become a bigger name is beyond me. Go and watch Dusty singing I Don't Want To Go On Without You from her show 1966 with Madeline, Lesley and Barbara on BV's, also the Beat Club clips of Madeline in the 60s. Great interview.
