I remember seeing a ‘36 ford and being mesmerized. A cool ‘49 merc at a car show then fell in love. ‘50 shoebox here and there. Now they’re everywhere!!!!!!!! It’s not the same anymore. Damn it, it was so nice seeing custom cars randomly. Those days are over. I’ll just stick to all original now. Thanks guys. It was nice while it lasted.

I know in the early 80's people were practly giving them away in the California bay area just to get them out the drive way or there back yard. I bought many for less than that, one just needed a carberater the owner didn't know it was a 1954 Chevy 4 door Belair in pristine condition. No on like the 4 doors at that time the car was way to clean to pass up. After I put my touches to it everyone looked at it differently then. That was my high school car I never had to len forward for someone to climb in the back seat. After that old car I got hooked to work on and fix other cars up. Other guys were doing the same thing buying fixing selling to start a new project. These days they want top dollar because they are even more rare than the 80's to find a survivor car with not that much rust.
