I really like the setup of this climax being in a labyrinth where the more you let your rage and fear rule you the more lost you will be. It really makes for a good metaphor for the darkside/empire where the more you rely on hate and fear the more trapped you become. And a good metaphor for toxic habits where so often people try to go through life repeating the same toxic habits that got them trapped in the first place and can even result in hurting those who are innocent or even trying to help you get out. And the only true way out is to drop the toxic addiction you’ve latched on to, and have faith in yourself and that you can get out

There are people complaining about Barriss's fate, but I like that she was redeemed, and I like to think that she got back in touch with Ahsoka through her redemption and apologized to her. I don't think she will die from this given that lightsabers are less and less fatal by the minute, but I like that she sort of redeemed Lyn with her own redemption.

Barriss through her mistakes learnt how to be true Jedi rather than Ahsoka through her fight as a badass fighter against the Empire, without any try to reach any of inquisitors. Barriss represents what Yoda said - that a failure is the greatest teacher.

The inquisitors Ahsoka fought didn't show any signs of being broken or anything else, they simply enjoyed being who they were! So why waste time to reach for someone who is clearly irredeemable? It's like trying to redeem Palpatine himself! Both Ahsoka and Barris were right in their way!

In some ways I think her being betrayed by a friend is perfect justice. ...but yeah, the fan in me wanted Vader to choke her out. I am always fascinated in how Vader handles things that would deeply impact Anakin, but, as a Sith rule, should have little to no impact on him. Or at least that's the impression he's supposed to give. So any time he doesn't, I live for that stuff!

I never considered Bariss a favorite-but I always respected the integrity of her character as well as the influence that both Ahsoka and Bariss carried with each other. You have to keep in mind that she only attacked the Temple in season 5 because she saw the Jedi become corrupt rather than fight it accordingly with the senate. Palpatine’s rise to power was largely in part to make everyone around him-jedi and senate corrupt-and exploit them for his gain. Seeing Bariss redeem herself was still her realization that she was manipulated in exactly the way that was intended when she saw the Inquisitor program firsthand. Being ahead of the curve may have saved her life, but she somehow knew what was wrong when she saw Lynn turn on the people. If we had the Grand Inquisitor or Vader mentor her instead of Lynn she absolutely would of been part of the Dark side, but as a broken hero like Dooku. Lynn allowed her to wake up sooner and redeem herself-a creative choice that ties in new star wars content with the old- but not the most consistent when you consider Bariss liked Ventress’ sabers and said they suit her. She was supposed to enjoy being against the Jedi then just became a Jedi again

I really enjoyed the Fourth Sister’s character development through these 3 short episodes. Its more impactful and relatable than Barris Offee’s development. And its tragic too, she’s pretty much trapped in the sith inquisition program with no way out. But as Kino Loy once said, “i would rather die trying to take them down than giving them what they want” and also “ONE WAY OUT!”

And Fennec even survived a gut shot by a blaster. All of which didn’t receive medical attention for up to 24 hours. Barriss is one of the best healers alongside the inquisitor her odds aren’t bad imo
