Bonds is the best inside ball hitter I have seen. it's is amazing how fast he gets around to hit the ball

They need to put Barry Bonds in the Hall of Fame because he is the greatest player to ever play the game and the home run king.
@baseballislife14348 жыл бұрын
Yeah Ikr but he isn't the home run king really Hank Arron was but the best slugger in all of baseball was Mark McGwire even tho he used steroids in part of his career but still. Barry Bonds was the best outfielder in history but he used steroids in part of he's career as well so that's probably why he's not.
@colesanchez78018 жыл бұрын
What part of cheating do you not understand? I'll admit he's a good player, but if he had the sense not to use Steroids he would of absolutely went into the Hall of Fame. Maybe he shouldn't of used them.
@RogerSallee-u8d8 жыл бұрын
Cole Sanchez Steroids and other drugs are just part of sports these days. All athletes are taking something so we have to accept or ignore it.
@johnnycincinnati87498 жыл бұрын
+Roger Sallee ken griffey jr. didnt use PEDs. Griffey was better than bonds, if griffey jr. used PEDs he would have been more likely to stay healthy/injury free and would've likely hit 800+ homeruns. griffey has over 600 homeruns and he did it without steroids and being injured for a few seasons... griffey is better than bonds by far.
@LEEMAN-X3 жыл бұрын
I agree with you, even if he did take steroids so fucking what, mostly everyone else was on roids too so that makes it even playing field if you ask me hahaha
@mcesarey3 жыл бұрын
It wasn't until his 500th homer that he even started looking muscular. I hate that the steroids issue hangs over his records. In the mid-2000's people were so negative toward his performance, but he was making great contact, which takes great mechanics, timing, etc. I feel he's easily the best in my lifetime.

688 Intentional Walks who is the closest Hank Aaron 292? Barry Bonds most feared hitter in history and he broke National League walk record in 1996 as skinny Barry with like 155 walks Best and most feared on or off steroids!
@LEEMAN-X3 жыл бұрын
Exactly, people that Wana just say "yeah but he took steroids" is the ignorant approach to talking about Barry Bonds, just cuz the media told them that, that's as far as they know how to look at things lol 🤣😆

Hate it ot LOVE it.....Barry Lamar Bonds is one of the BEST baseball player ever! Please note: During BALCO and MITCHELL stuff investigation against him, this guy homered 149 times and received 636 BB, 75% IBB. :)

The whole steroid thing definitely tarnishes his reputation but there is no doubt in my mind that either him or Willie Mays is the best baseball player of all time.

Most of what he did was done in an era where EVERYBODY (maybe 85% of people) were on some sort of performance enhancing drugs. It was the norm. So it was still an even playing field for all intents and purposes. But to be fair to him, he was at his BEST after the steroid stuff broke and it was obvious he wasnt on steroids anymore. At his BEST. There is no steroids known to man for hand eye coordination and homeruns arent a byproduct of muscle. Regardless of what he did or didnt do, his accomplishments in the batters box are pretty mind boggling.

Yes he did do steroids, but steroids doesn't swing the bat for you. Steroids don't improve your swing. Bonds is still by far one of the best hitters of all time #goat

Jack Flanagan let me explain this so do you know the ballpark Fenway yes well ok the green monster comes in a bit so it's not impossible to hit homers a pop Fly is a homer there ANYWHERE for bonds with his steroids a pop fly for a regular player is an out but for bonds with his extra strength it's a homer

Pre 2000 Bonds was really fun to watch. An actual 5 tool player and an absolute stud especially on offense. No body had better home plate coverage and not swinging at bad pitches than Bonds. HGH Bonds on the otherhand was a different story. Too video game liked especially on offensive. His numbers were unreal, just way to artificial for me as it seemed like he was on some cheat code or something.

+jor01god give me your definition of anabolic steroids. If you say all it does is gives you strength and power you're wrong. It makes you more aware, sharp, it overall helps you and makes your body feel really good. It's a PED for a reason buddy. You still think he'd have the numbers without it?? Haha don't make me laugh buddy.

MLB on Steriods = Mighty Mouse Bonds on Steriods = King Kong He'd have 800 plus homeruns if not blacklisted. If Bonds isn't in Hall of Fame, nobody from that era should be either because if they weren't testing for it how is one to know who was and who wasn't.

Using any type of PED is cheating and will help you gain an advantage one way or another in the professional sport you compete in, that's why they are illegal. Bonds was such a gifted athlete and great player from the beginning that he never even needed PEDS, still shocks me he took them.
@mannyfrencha57365 жыл бұрын
"*Moral of the story... take steroids." WTF? If he took roids, well, last I checked, they didn't have exceptional hand-eye contact. I guess roids helped Wilton Guerrero too. GTFOH! Barry's HANDS DOWN one of the BEST, if the the BEST HITTERS, EVER! Can you catch the ball with your bat, that's what his hitting technique was

Say all the bullshit about PED use but it’s undeniable that Bonds is the greatest Home Run hitter in history. I played baseball at at a high level and was also using steroids for a few years and sure the home runs I hit probably went a little further but I was always a home run hitter. I was hitting ball up to 450ft when I was 16-17 years old. Great players like Bonds were born with their talent. He put in decades of hard work to become as great as he was and steroids had nothing to do with it. In his later years they wouldn’t even pitch to him! He would only get 1 or 2 pitches a game and still dominated. He got walked something like 232 times in 1 season a lot of which were intentional walks and he still hit over 40 home runs! That’s not because of steroids I don’t care what anyone says. Everyone else was taking steroids during his era so why don’t any of them have 762 home runs. I won’t deny that they don’t help with certain things but it’s nowhere near as helpful as people make it out to be
