@@alb5801 Yes, it was her "sister," not a mere alter ego. The difference being, Barry Allen IS the flash and consciously chose/choses to be. Cisco IS/WAS vibe and consciously choses/chose to be. Caitlin's powers never worked that way. She was always either Caitlin OR Frost, she had both identities living inside of her consciousness since she was young. When Caitlin would become unconscious, Frost could take over, and vice versa. When team flash separated the two, they removed an entirely separate consciousness (Frost) that was residing inside of Caitlin. They each had their own identities, but they were one of the same. It's a superhero version to having a Monozygotic twin. Instead of a single egg that splits and forms two identical babies, think of it as a single egg that formed two identical *identities* within one. Same concept can be seen in SPLIT, except his 23 identities were constantly battling for control of his one body.

I really thought I wasn't going to cry but man did it hurt seeing Frost die, I cried hard. Frost was the best and worst of Caitlin band it really hurts to see her go not to mention how much they have all lost, a friend, a daughter, a girlfriend, Frost was basically Cait twin sister she was apart of her and she lost Ronnie 3 times already not to mention losing her dad and now Frost. Mark lost the only person the first person who believed in him and saw the best even when he didn't. She always had his back and even stood up for him when people hated him or called him a loser, he helped Frost and Caitlin talk about how neither of them want to be alone. This episode made me really emotional and I hate seeing my favorite characters die in a series

This was a great episode. Frost passing got me chocked up. Something told me something wasn't right when frost absorbed Death Storm's power and I was right. I think that after hearing Frost's death, Cisco is probably in bed or at his desk in Star City sadly looking at a picture of himself, Frost (when she was still in Caitlin's body), and Harry while they were partying in Star Labs (I know Frost passed away in the New Multiverse, but surely some photographs of the Original Multiverse still exist, I mean some relics of the old multiverse like Nora's journal, Jesse's suit and Sherloque's brandy bottle were brought or restored in the new Multiverse).

They have literally cut Caitlin and Barry’s scene together. Barry knows Caitlin the longest here and is her friend.. n he couldn’t comfort her.. they just make it seem they are strangers.. kudos to dp.. she nailed the scene.. broke our hearts.. she and Barry has suffered the most in this show.. 🙃

@@Itzyahrose It's not really future prediction as much as it is knowing her character. I mean, Frost dying was due to the fact that Caitlin was so obsessed with bringing Ronnie back which she blindly did without considering the consequences of doing so. She also was obsessed with finding her father which led to icicle which led to her father dying for real. And now she was so obsessed with getting Frost back that it led to Khione's creation and Caitlin's own death altogether. As much as I love Caitlin's character, she has this bad habit of never leaving well enough alone and trying to bring back dead people which leads to more people dying and then she tries to bring back those new dead people and then the cycle continues. People like to crap on Barry for messing with the timeline but nobody bats an eye at Caitlin for disturbing the dead (or at least trying to and causing more of it in the process.)

Didn't see her death coming at all. It really solidified when Mark broke down crying. They had plans together, as a couple, and it just kinda reminds me of when people when lose their significant other early on in life, like they weren't even married yet, but you know she was headed in that direction since she had her own independent life. Honestly one of my favorite character's, her story arc is so well written and Danielle Panabaker has done a great job with that character over the years.

The physical incarnation of killer frost is dead,but I wouldn't be surprised if they brought her back the same way that they introduced her in the first place,as an alternate personality to Caitlin

While that may be true, there is a possibility that this could be Daniella's last season. Frost is dead and Caitlin will go through a whole arc that could end with her leaving Team Flash permanently. And the Frost that died is the same split personality so unless Caitlin's mind breaks this is the end of her.

@@noxcore69 Same here. The funny thing is is I am a twin, so I could sort of relate to Caitlin and frost’s dynamic. Frost personality was also kick ass, she wasn’t afraid to adventure or go out of the box. She may have been born to protect Caitlin, but it was not fair that she just started to live a life on her own terms and then it get completely taken away from her.

I love how all these comments are acting like shes just gonna stay dead. Something is gonna bring her back some how. Either her healing is gonna kick back in once her body is used to the power or Caitlin's connection to her will allow her to do something or even Deathstorm comes back and it affects her some how. @@tayc9542 that is true but, I have 2 things to say about that. 1st is those major characters they've never brought back didn't have some form of a healing factor like Frost does. And 2nd, there's a difference between a major character and a main character. Frost is a main core cast member.
