Yeah he really did. He really has proven to be more competent in the field than Allegra or Cecile ever has been over the last few seasons. SPOILERS: I really don’t think Mark is dead since Chillblaine was seen on set photos for the series finale. Plus, it would be stupid to kill him off so early in the season when they just made him a series regular. I want to see Chillblaine out in the field with Barry in future episodes

If you look closely you see Iris was also hit with a little of the speed force, so after this event, and later in the following episodes somehow, Mark ends up merged with Red Death because of the Organic/Fake speedforce (she zooms over to grab him before the evil rogues can actually kill him for whatever reason), and then she/he end of a merged Red Death, and is angry at Barry because he feels like Barry abandoned him, and he wants freezer burn again.. then they all team up order to stop him good Rogues and bad Rogues.. even Joe and his wife get involved (Cecile can probably grab hold of speedsters now with her powers) What really saves the day though is that they manage to Give him Old frost back (Oh yeah my nickname for her is Freezer Burn) and he goes off to be happy with her.... and then everyone else also comes together with their respective counterparts to make a call back to the comment New frost (my nickname for her is Defrost) made about liquids and Ice crystals that come together to make something new that could have never been before if they stayed separate. Happy ending No more deaths, BIG SEND OFF.. and we get to see NORA and BART again!... Oh.. wait.. I probably accidently wrote a better ending in a comment section on KZbin.

Did he lose his speed against the scientist that wanted to get younger and Barry aged? No he did not. He had it but was operating at a slower pace. If you run a marathon or track and you start to slow down, do you just not have the capability to run anymore? Run as fast as you know you can? No you are just physically drained and tired. That is Barry here. The treadmill started to drain him of how fast he can run but he can still run.

It’s aggravating to see in this last season we have with the continuation of this man being nerfed… I understand how they need to ignore some logic for the sake of plot, but they shouldn’t be using that excuse especially this season, i enjoy season 8 because Barry was nerfed very rarely, he didn’t go down to a stupid lousy street tier rogue’s level. They put the villain up to his. Like Despero, Deathstorm, The Forces, RF and ECT. They should have the budget above and beyond because they’re is only 13 episodes and it’s the last fucking season… l love this show, I’ve loved it unconditionally for nearly 10 years but the expectations shouldn’t be low this season, we don’t have time for this cliche bullshit. They writing poorly and we don’t have time for this shit, the alternative for this ending should’ve been that Barry ran towards chillblaine to help in Flashtime but then Red death recharged and got up and fought him, Flash gets beaten up then the rogues in team Flash come in and disorientate red death for a moment to escape… Barry tries to run towards chillblaine again but Red Death canceled out his speed in their fight… THEN the rogues pull Barry away to escape… that’s how I would’ve made the scene, a little more action packed and creative like you actually want to make this season good. It not even a lot I added that’s just a type expectation that we’re not seeing…

If you are running into a problem where it would immediately end the conflict, then either revise the conflict or add a new one. Just like they leveled up Thawne and Godspeed. Have Red Death give his rogues anti-speedforce weaponry, like the bullets Deadshot used in Injustice 2 that could catch up with Flash. The tech the Legends used to deal with Thawne. The trope of Barry needing to be depowered to "have a season" is getting to be a bit of an old excuse. It was fine in the first few seasons, but now, Barry's extremely enhanced connection to the speedforce should be enough to outlast running on the treadmill a few minutes, overload power dampeners, resist the negative speedforce, and make Barry actually be HARD TO BEAT. **Make the villains he faces more of a direct threat to his increased power level, stop bringing him to theirs.** The fact that the writers keep reusing this overused crutch tells me they have no creativity in storytelling.

He looks up with a bottle in his hand, and a dead phone hinged into his pocket. His eyes traces the voice to return back to a postured figure standing before him at the entrance- her figure; petite and waist complimented. The bob revealing one to him of few, Cecile. Days before had sprout gradually into weeks and toward months Barry has been in the search for Iris West, and as fast as a speedster may run, one’s humanity of needs and emotions can only pursue itself any more. Lust has painted the young speedster man in desperation, and the intrusive ideas absorb into the mind of Barry like a sponge. His mind had been running, Barry blinks and taps a foot to associate back into reality. “- Did you hear what I said, Barry?” Cecile exclaims. She had already stood in front of the speedster and looked up to his gaze, her arms cross and brows mirroring the same as she wondered Barry’s isolation and silence for the recent weeks in Iris’s disappearance. “I came to check on you.” Cecile adds, observing onto Barry’s dissociation. Barry looks into her eyes deeper if one could even show physically how, and he takes a step forward. “Cecile, I..” he pauses, and inhales. “I am going through something and I want you to use your-“ “My gift?” Cecile concludes. She rests her face and posture, reaching an arm to assure her son in law. She takes an inhale in thought of Iris. “Whatever I can do to help us find Iris, I got you.” Barry’s lips part to form a word, edging to finally come out until he feels a pulse throbbing between his groin. Time around him suddenly swirls into a sharp drag; air molecules we couldn’t see in time reveal itself in frozen motion, the computers’ engines roar blend into a slower broken pace of a whisper audible to now hear the fans spin in gaps, screens flicker in constant led, and Barry looks down. A red bulge had peaked amongst out his suit, piercing through one layer as a thick, dampen fluid drools from one of the outer pore out his groin. In slow time, he can his member bend more against the fabric as the blood begins to work against the flashtime. The fabric rubbing against Barry’s member arouses the speedster as his brain doubles the duration it takes to receive a hard member, he begins to raise his head back up to a slow motioned Cecile still mouthing her words adding on to what she was saying about helping him - one arm mid air swiftly pulling downwards motion as she’s talking, and her eyes oblivious to the change of direction Barry once stood as he now stands up from the seat to the paused world around him. He reaches for Cecile’s mid-air arm before swinging her across the room, blending her into a pool of frozen motioned air molecules. Her face, still in talking posture, begins to slowly shift as reaction settles in. Barry speeds to her and climbs on top before they both land on the floor back into normal speed, with the sound barrier slamming the room into an echo of chaos. Lights crack, and screens flicker as Cecile screams before Barry zooms his hand to her soft, moist lips and whispers among her ear “What do you feel, Cecil?” Cecil’s powers activate as her eyes turn , and she widens. Barry then goes back into flash time, before taking off his suit. He zooms onto her as lighting caresses the two’s skins, connecting the rod into the cloud. The tip pierces against the moist pink layered walls as it doesn’t have time to retract, Barry adjusts his leg to where he pushes his lightning rod further in as the lightning that he generates flickers out his back onto her doorway so it substituted as a lubricant of water based electricity. The lightning rod is now increasing its pace, generating thunder and lightning zapping out her doorway as Barry escalates his speed against the walls compressed against his lighting rod, feeling the natural fluids inside reshape in frozen motion from the foreign rod like Play-Doe. Barry grabs the edges of the telepath, edging deeper as another bolt pierces out of them both and strikes a screen across them. Barry escalates once more before phasing to go deeper and into the telepath’s stomach. Barry remains in flashtime for another hour before finally thrusting into a motion of the sea as his fluids flush out into the pocket of damp shelter. Barry groans and clutches to the lawyer’s shirt waiting a second to fully eject before exiting flashtime and the effects to settle into reality
