I could listen to Barry Jenkins speak all day long. He seems so knowledgeable about his craft.

I just saw this movie today and I can not stop thinking about it. I saw Moonlight twice. And I think I'm gonna see this twice too. I can't shake it. It's so beautiful. Barry Jenkins with James Baldwin is a masterpiece!!

Now this movie was a true romantic story. I was so moved by the movie and Stephan James made me want to cry. He's face is so full of expression and Kiki Layne makes me wish I had a woman like her in my life.

I love his style of movie making, it’s calming to look at. Also Nicholas Britell is a huge blessing. His music is so moving and suits the whole ambiance.

Camilleri led too much with that first question to the actors about director’s attention. Kiki really could only agree and not form her own opinion. His appreciation of Barry seems gratuitous to the point it comes off as ungenuine. I think Barry is the most hyped part of this movie and for good reason but it would have been nice to have better questions for the actors. This would have shown better appreciation for their performances beyond being tools for Barry’s vision.

disagree...he weaved and allowed for them to speak to their work well. Could have had more for Stephan and KiKi, but decent job.

He always does such a horrible job. When he interviews Latino Film makers/actors. I still don’t know why they let him interview. I agree 100%. Plus he’s not relatable at all as an interviewer.

I’m sorry I wanted to like it but I felt it was overrated, to slow and uneven. I’m sorry everyone I swear I tried to like it

Arl662 i feel the same way. The actors were great, but the scenes were so long and stretched. I really wanted to like the movie.
