Exactly. In the movie, his appearance isn‘t very spectecular at first but then he just blows you away. That came really unexpected to me and I love it.

I like that in a cliche superhero flick he’d be the obvious candidate for being a villain, but instead he’s a person with the power to control people and struggles with it. His performance gave so much depth that showed Druig loved humanity enough to know his powers could keep them safe from each other but also loved them enough to not want to use that power to Just control them and rule over them.

He can easily control eveyone just like what he said against Ajax but thru the years he understand that controling humanity is not his ultimate goal, because it means they will be slave under him.
