Barry would have had many women after him, to put a notch in their belt, during the 70's and 80's especially. Quiet hard temptations to resist, so their love and devotion must have been quiet significant. The show biz world, appears to follow its own rules, marriages appear to be short, but not very sweet. Though 45 years + (now) is not that long really. My grandparents celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary a number of years ago. It would have been their 80th, if my nan had married him before she was 22 years of age. He felt this additional waiting was a waste of time....But who knows. My Best Wishes to Barry and Linda, they truly are and anomaly in the crazy show biz industry. Though the Gibbs seem to be a very close family unit, which is very admirable.

49 years now in 2019. That’s very rare in any marriage never mind in the public eye. I think it had a lot to do with the fact the Bee Gees took all their families with them on tour so kept them close. Plus they obviously love each other. Wonderful to see.

I have to say, their parents did a great job of parenting 4 boys who became men. From Barry to Andy, they all know how to treat a woman and it is so rare, especially being in the entertainment business do you find that marriages last. Congratulations Barry and Linda. +Laura Parker wait a minute..........Maurice and Robin as well as Barry were never faithful to their wives and stupid cray cray Robin had a baby girl with the help after being involved with her for at least 8 years and Maurice first marriage failed mainly because he stayed drunk. Barry and Robin were hell on wheels growing up which Barry has said multiple times. he said their parents could not control them at all but it was that type of behavior that allowed them to hand tough in the rotten music world that they choose to make a living off of.

He was arguably one of the best looking young performers, of his time, belonging to one of the most popular rock/pop groups, of my generation, and I can imagine the groupies and all the Women he had access to, if he so chose. The party scene with Women, Drugs, and everything that comes with it, is something that was the downfall of many. Marriages that couldn't withstand the temptation of all this stuff. Barry had a set of principles first, that he believed in, where it concerned his Marriage, so he is to be given a lot of credit.

Him and his brothers were relentless womanizers and all of their second marriages endured the true test of time in spite of that fact. only Robin with his so call open marriage got some what sloppy and had a baby girl outside of his marriage and Mo's nick name was Moby Dick and not because of the fish!! all the second wives stayed and loved the brothers no matter what. just sayin
