This was my husband and my song since 1973..he passed away 2008 married 40 years...coming home from the hospital the day he passed, this song came on the radio 4 times before I got home...and the next day driving to the funeral home..it came on the radio again..I do believe this was meant for me, for we hadn't heard this in almost 7 years...

Years ago I went on holiday to Trinidad and Tobago at carnival time. I played steelpan with a local band in one of the minor competitions around the country. This was our tune. Overjoyed doesn't touch how I felt. We won, and it is one of my happiest memories.❤

As a young kid I can remember this song being played as the late-night movie would come on. I think I was like 7 or 8 years old. Then all these years later I find out that its none other than Barry White whose music I was raised on. My dad, grandmother, grandfather and uncle always knew who it was, but I didn't make the connection until I was much older. Boy oh boy, I did and do now and so does my children and so will my grandson, just a few weeks old. My first!!!!! I always loved this song and always will. It's a masterpiece!!!!!!☺🤔🤭😘😍🥰
