No. The title is tricky. It would have to melodic minor b5 which doesn’t indicate its relationship to a -7b5 chord. If it works for you, then great!

Okay, I need to research the modes of melodic minor in more depth. All I know at the moment is melodic minor and lydian dominant (lydian-flat-7?)

A minor with a flattened 5th = A, B, C, D, Eb, F, G A locrian with a sharp 2nd = A, B, C, D, Eb, F, G They are the same notes it's just that I didn't explain it properly. What I meant to say was a locrian with sharp second and a minor with a flattened fifth.
