I owned a new 78 and appreciate this beauty. You can not deny the heart pounding da...da...da...da sound of that high lift long duration cam, but today’s modern muscle V8 are now far superior.

Love my 79 c3 LS 1 conversion. Your is Beautiful plain and simple. I don’t quite like the loop it has but that’s me. Today technology with tuning and turbo chargers, big cams are a thing of the past. My 11 GMC turns out 440 HP with a turbo and tuning and it’s a standard 5.3

We used the edging you can get at a parts store for doors etc... Pretty simple and inexpensive..But it was perfect. Stayed forever
