I think Stuart is mixing in the story of Kurt Angle, who won an Olympic gold medal in amateur wrestling while he had a broken neck. Brock did, however, kick some arse in UFC until a bowel problem put the brakes on his career. Then he went back again after a stint in wrestling, only to be caught with banned substances in his body, now he's in WWE again.
