I grew up half a mile from the other la Nova's and the the pizzaria across the street mysteriously burned down in an "accident" shortly after they opened. It's well known around here that the old man and his sons have a mob connection. Tbh I wouldn't be surprised if davey one slice was coerced into a good score. The pizza isn't that good anyways.
