private school alum here. My school is nationally ranked and can only schedule 3-4 in state teams a year bc no one else in the state is willing to play them so they have to schedule majority of out of state games

Oregon State is getting screwed with the pac 12 collapse. Finished 14th in the country last year and are 18th going into this season. Winning 3 national baseball championships in the last 20 years, finished in the elite 8 in basketball 2 years ago. Now don’t get a bid to go to any big conference and have to get demoted to the mountain west. Completely destroying the whole athletic department. No more top recruiting, having to cut our current coaches contracts, and will have to cut the schools athletic budget in half if not more to fit into mountain west rules… we were getting $36 million a year from tv contracts now we will get $6 million going to the mountain west. The little relevance we had nationally is now gone. I know this doesn’t have to do with the documentary but it must be known.
