I like it. The only "red flag" I'd raise is that keeping the lithium battery could actually be dangerous. Theoretically speaking, the materials in the battery will wear down and cause a short circuit within the battery elements, which could cause a fire.

I just use Pages on my mac to make the schematic. You can use Word, Paint or another program that makes it easy to draw som lines. I first made a mockup of all the parts on a A4 paper. then I just try to measure where the line should be. It tok a coples of trys to make it right sins its not presist :)

I could not find the right size and depth, so I ended up ordering a custom made 3D frame. not recommended. it was expensive. But a god size for the frame is about A4 (420mm × 297mm) (11,7 x 16,5 inch)

You should have used adhesive strips rather than glue

adhesive strips could work and for parts you want to "lift up" thick adhesive strips can be a god option. but some parts are heavy and others not sticky enough for adhesive strips. so using glue gun was the easiest option for me.

The battery is completely empty and safe... I have done some (not so scientific) tests on batteries to see how dangerous they are. my conclusion; full battery: dangerous. empty battery: safe. Sorry that I havent published a video from this "very little safe" but fun "scientific" test...

@@bartholdsen Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to diminish your work, this is an amazing piece of art, I'm just trying to open your eyes on the risk a battery is presenting on the long run. This is why recycling batteries is very important. I'm a big fan of Grid Studio creation and I had the opportunity to exchange with the CEO of the company (Joe) and they are using fake batteries and trying to use the outside shell on their display. Or you can get fake batteries for specific vendors.
