This was the time when artists were humble and calm, money was not their problems unlike today's artists. At that time artists were looking problems that really were facing the society and there came songs. Today it's all about fame and money and chains on their necks. If someone perhaps will be here watching and listening to this in the next 29years to come.. this text will remind them that i was listening to this nice song during covid-19 in 2021 while very far from my home country. No matter what kenyan/African bands play today, I still come back here for inspiration. The rhythm, solo guitar, the bass, the drummer, the wind instruments, the vocals are so good. Forever.

It was very emotional this morning 30/10/2021, as a friend of mine came to see me and fortunately I was listening to this song. He burst into tears uncontrollably remembering his late Dad, stating that his Dad was a guitarist and this song was amongst his Dad's favorite songs he loved playing. May the Souls of our departed parents RIP. What a memorable song. Commenting from Sierra Leone, West Africa 🌍

Whenever I listen to this song, I feel connected to my late father who died 25 years ago. He was a very jovial and sociable person. A disciplinarian nonetheless.
