Hi I just got a 2 year old bearded dragon yesterday from my friend and I changed her cage and he eats but she doesn't move a lot. Should I be concerned or is it that he's just getting used to everything? And when I pet him it doesn't seem like he enjoys it... So is he just getting used to me?

Kelsey Jones First of all it's a reptile they don't show any emotions like dog or cats. Even I have a big cage Bartl (my bearded dragon) is not moving much either, only if i take him out and let me move in our appartment then he gets active and is exploring every corner. But be carefull if a bearded dragon is hiding he is hard to find. :-) So keep pet him, feed him and take care of him, if he is not enjoying it he will tell you by moving away or showing his other aggressive behaviors. Hope this helps a bit.

Yes you can my bearded dragon eats dandelions to.

You can, but as long as the dandelions are not picked "wild." Wild dandelions are not appropriate for bearded dragons due to the fact that you don't know where they've been or what they may have been contaminated with (such as weed killer, etc.) If you do wish to feed your bearded dragon the yellow flower of the dandelion, it's best to grow them yourself in a garden, so that you can control how they grow and when they are picked, and they will be guaranteed to be free of any possible contaminants since you'll be growing them yourself.
