Dr. Ed Breitschwerdt, professor of internal medicine at North Carolina State University, discusses recent research into the Bartonella bacteria. Animals and humans can both become infected with the bacteria from insect bites. It may be possible for an infected mother to pass the bacteria to her unborn child in utero, the professor has found. Extremely interesting... after 8 cycles of chemo for breast cancer (hereditary), Bartonella popped up in my bloodwork. Last year, I was treated for advanced lyme disease (co-infected with Myco). I'm half-way there to recovery, or so I feel... My mind is an open parachute to this kind of research. Thank you for sharing~

Similiar situation here. I had extreme stress and all of the sudden lyme disease and bartonella broke out confirmed by bloodtests. Can you tell me what you have done to treat these diseases?

​@@alexchatelain4009 Hi there, I have a child with not-proved yet lime-disease with bartonella. I am looking for possiblities of a good diagnostics now. I have read forums with lots of life stories and I can tell you one advice, which is not an option for my child: EAT ONLY MEAT with some salt and some black pepper, you can also drink plain coffee - that's it!!!! - for 3 months, and you will recover! do not give carbs to these bacterial organisms, and they will die. Is this easy to eat only meat for 3 months - no! unfortunately, with a little child it's not an option. However, I do not feed her breads, sugar, potatoes, rice, pasta, and she feels better.

Good on your for researching this, Dr Ed! There are some desperate people out here who really really need new, effective ways of finding and eliminating these sorts of infections that are stealing our lives away so torturously slowly!

So if we get it and do not eliminate it, let's say because we are invaded by other infections at the same time like Borrelia and babesia, what would you recommend to do? How to recognize the symptoms of this particular bacteria? and to treat it?
