Oh I once went to a brand new small apartment building up in the US where I live and the door to where the elevator/lift is normally locked and can only be opened by the people who live in the building but on my first visit I found out someone didnt lock the door propertly and I went in and found a really nice brand new schindler but it was still on its installation process and still had the felt pads covering it

I like all hydros (except LULA ones, they are S-L-O-W). One of my favorite hydros is the ThyssenKrupp AMEE25 Holeless hydraulic elevator. I also like hydros with Dry-Powered motors because they have an AWESOME sound. My least favorite type of elevator is MRL traction, they don't last very long, the only MRL's i like are the Otis Gen2, and the ThyssenKrupp Synergy

in blackburn there is a glass lift it only goes up to level 2 and there is a lict wich is not a glass lift but it only goes to level 2 as well try and do lift tour time in Blackburn

In a part in the town centre where I live there are lifts to a car park and it was modernised but like on the ground floor it has a horrible Dewhurst button and an old Otis indicator. On the inside it has the voice of that service lift and it has some crap Dewhurst on one side and old Otis fixtures on the other side!!! I want to ride these but I’m too much of a wimp to ride it in case I get stuck :(

PlazGames Nope, Thyssenkrupp didn't have gone with generics. They have gone making their own parts. The Thyssenkrupp lifts have Dewhurst Series 42 buttons in this hospital, the indicator is a true Thyssenkrupp. The hall lanterns and indicator is STEPMODUL. Thyssenkrupp has introduced the Synergy model in 2001.

The ecodisc has a voice the same as Otis

These ecodiscs were built when Kone was changing over from 1st to 2nd generation design of ecodisc. The design of these ecodiscs is the (at the time) new second generation, but the ecodisc motor is still the 1st generation motor, and the voice is the Otis/Kone shared voice which Kone used in their first generation ecodiscs and Otis used in their early Otis 2000s (from the 90s to the early 2000s).

It’s also quite a shame that now the hospital is completely abandoned and has been completely gutted but might soon have most of it’s interior completely demolished and rebuilt because of the buildings being redeveloped into appartments!

very nice video. I do please need your help in starting up a lift appreciation society as a registered charity, so that old lifts will be listed and protected by law. even though they will still have to be maintained etc, the old car and all its bits and pieces, includingthe buttons will be safe. also attach sensors on the old gated lifts so if some foolish person sticks his / her hand through the gate, the lift will safely stop and then be restarted by pressing the floor button again.
