The context for the fight, of course, are spoilers: 1. As you know, Baryo Mod fuses both Naruto and Kurama's chakras into a single energy, like a nuclear fusion. But it consumes their lives and in the end one or both die. And yes, this is Naruto's strongest mode. 2. Naruto Hokage is a great taijutsu user by the way. 3. This Isshiki/Jigen villain is strong enough to break Sasuke's perfect susano'o with one kick. He is very powerful, could beat Naruto and Sasuke with relative ease. He's able to shrink almost anything except living beings (can only self-shrink) and that including jutsus. That's why Naruto hardly used ninjutsu to fight him. 4. Kurama didn't just die, his whole being was consumed to make the transfromation, so he actually died for good, the chances of coming back are almost non-existent. We had a tribute for the character in the anime, a good by for her.
