In my headcanon, female baryonyxes form packs while the males are vagabonds until they settle down with a mate. But, they have to prove that they can be responsible husbands to the females in the pack, especially if the chosen female in pack is an alpha or a subordinate.

Because here is a profile of the Baryonyx in the game Jurassic World Evolution. And the rules of the game prevent to have more than 2 Baryonyx, unless you modify their DNA to accept more Baryonyx around them. But you need the Secrets of Dr. Wu DLC to do that.
