BASAAK fake Blythe doll // box opening & review

I got one a month ago, her scalp popped off, her face seam needs to be sanded down and her pull string snapped all shortly after opening the package. I got her to check out the quality versus the Icey. Theses are my first fake Blythe which I plan to modify. The dolls hair was thin and she definitely needs a new wig. My icey came the following week. I opted for the articulated body. Boy, hands down the Icey doll is superior, her hair is so thick and soft I don't want to rewig her added bonus nothing has broken on her. I'll be getting more Iceys if I continue in this hobby.

CAR Jones yep, the quality of these are not great at all! They’re a good option for customisation experiments however. If you enjoy the Icy dolls I recommend you try the fake Blythes on Aliexpress. The quality is on par to Icy dolls - and dare I say it, to authentic Blythes too! 🤭

Basaak are really cute Blythe knock offs. The quality is not the best, but I still love them the face is pretty cute

evertiff The retro design is so cute! And the experience of freeing the doll from its box is so gratifying! But to be honest, the doll itself is very low quality, and for this price I would recommend buying a fake Blythe 🙂

@@larmeblood these kinda dolls are of bad quality, the hair falls out really easily. Getting a factory/ icy blythe doll would be better in terms of the quality and looks closer to a real blythe

I would NEVER buy these dolls off of wish! In fact I have never bought ANYTHING off of wish! But I'm waiting for my 3rd neo Blythe from aliexpress and I am NEVER disappointed honestly if you have not purchased one from aliexpress you should you will not be disappointed :)

Well the cord isn't a high quality so u kinda have to change it. I had one and customised it to have sleepy eyes, face up n Chang of eye chip(it's troublesome to remove the chip).

vinzX2 Surprisingly it didn’t snap, it was just loosely tied to her eye mech 😵 but definitely needs to be changed for a stronger cord! I would love to see yours! Do you have an Instagram for your dolls? x

I’ve bought a basaak before, but I just take her around so I don’t mess up my other ones hair. (Edit: that stand broke right away for me) (Edit edit: my first ones scalp broke off so beware I guess)

My favourite places are mandarake.co.jp (but beware of the 10% tax we now have to pay) or Facebook groups such as "100% Stock -Blythes & Adoptions" or "Blythe Dolls AU" . Both of those have new and used dolls at fair prices x
