BASAJAUN 2: El regreso al terruño

Los vinos más prestigiosos se elaboran en la viña. La viticultura española vive tiempos de cambio y el regreso al terruño relanza regiones históricas castigadas por el abandono. Tras la primera parte de Basajaun, centrada en el material vegetal, este documental recoge los testimonios de aquellos viticultores y viticultoras que, desde la España rural, pelean día a día por un paisaje hermoso que se resiste a desaparecer. Priorat, Monterrei, Marco de Jerez, Sierra de Gredos, Ribera del Duero, Irulegui o Rioja Oriental son algunos de los terruños en los que una viticultura de calidad recupera siglos de historia y biodiversidad con el objetivo de crear los grandes vinos del país.

The most prestigious wines are made in the vineyard. Spanish viticulture is experiencing times of change and the return to the terroir revives historical regions punished by abandonment. After the first part of Basajaun, focused on plant material, this documentary collects the testimonies of those winegrowers who, from rural Spain, fight every day for a beautiful landscape that refuses to disappear. Priorat, Monterrei, Marco de Jerez, Sierra de Gredos, Ribera del Duero, Irulegui or Rioja Oriental are some of the terroirs in which quality viticulture recovers centuries of history and biodiversity with the aim of creating the country's great wines.
