Yes, excellent video. I'm guessing you are not wearing a respirator simply so that you can narrate the video but I'd like to emphasize the importance of this as this method does create a lot of vapor especially on a hot still day. Great work and good technique.

You must be smoking krack! The brush/trees you kill with basal bark herbicide are the undesirable invasive kind, thus leaving the good trees.

@@tmo4330 We actually don't use dye and I am glad. In Spite of your best efforts you are going to get this stuff on you. Best not to go home every day covered in dye. Plus my company probably views it as an unecessary expense. Honestly, you pretty much see the oil without dye. Whatever you spray will be discolored for a few days at least. Some companies may require dye as a means of accountability so that an inspector can verify that the employee actually did his job. Secondly, I suppose the dye would certainly assist as a line of demarcation to prevent gaps in the work or redundant application. In general though you can tell what you already sprayed. Some of the more glossy barks might be a bit difficult and you can always mark off your end point with some colored tape until you come back to finish the work.
