Base Defences Online - Nomadic Survival #16

Hello Everyone and welcome to Space Engineers, with a series called nomadic survival, this is a solo series where I have to survive the hostile threats of Pertam. In this video build set up turret platforms all around the base to protect the base from attacks

wow what a neat little base it turned out at this point in the playthrough chief props :D and i feel youre pain now that large ships can and will attack you when youre least prepared for it but it makes things fun dont you think?? XD tho its kind of a bummer now that decoys dont always pull the attention like they use to a good way for me to defend ( i know it a bit much ) but i put a layer of gyros on top of the base between 2 layers of heavy armor it does the trick for a bit ( well until clang pays me a visit and a gyro detaches from wall and starts flying round hahaha

Those really are nice turrets, Its been a while since I setup a custom turret.

Why are you manually turning the rotors? and pistons why not just set up Timers or event controller? or both?

There are timbers on the deploy and retract sequence but they had no power until they were connected to the connector
