The only thing that has changed in Season 3.5 for Base Goku is that his B assist now charges a full bar instead of 0.75 every time it's used! Everything else is still up to date. Are you confused about all the numbers and letters? What the frick is a 236S? THE NUMBERS MASON, WHAT DO THEY MEAN?! It has everything! - Going through normals, special moves and their uses - Assists - Gameplan - Combos for different skill levels - A freaking flow chart for block strings! - Link to a google doc for SB setups - Link to a bGoku discord server, other learning resources, twitter hashtag for tech, good players to learn from! Like this guide teaches everything and on top of that guides you to learn more and how to proceed with your journey. Also the guide has some top tier humour! Made me laugh!

Damn, your guides are probably the clearest, yet still comprehensive combo videos out there. A lot of guides will show a bunch of different combos but don't really make it clear when and where each one is best used. True, they might show more options overall, but at the end of the day, I think the majority of players just want to be told, "These are the ones you really should be using." And I even like how you'll note if something maybe not the most optimal in terms of damage, but it's probably better just to stick with it because it's much easier and more consistent than the highest damage option. A pet peeve of mine is watching some combo guide and laboring hours and hours over a combo, only to learn that there's a much easier version that sacrifices just a few points of damage, especially when I see pro players using the "easy combo" over the highest damage one in games because they know that a dropped combo is missing damage. Please continue with all characters! EDIT: Also great work listing down both the damage, scaled damage, and meter gain of each combo.

I gotta say, your guides are so great, definitely the best. They got humor and character. In my opinion, your vids are the easiest to learn from. Baseku is my favorite character, I just love his kaioken and the damage he does. Your video showed me what loops are and I’m lucky enough to have videos from you about most of the characters I like (Gogeta and Bluegeta). I’m still trying to nail down all of the combos and such with all of these characters, but your vids have been a tremendous help. I remember pulling off the air extension once against my friends and they went crazy, because they really haven’t seen that either. So I sent your vids to them and my friend absolutely loved your Frieza vid, so just keep up the great work!

It still hits me from time to time how cool it is that the original Spirit Bomb gets to be a special move. My initial Dragon Ball games were Tenkaichi 2 and 3, wherein oftentimes a character's higher forms, or later story iterations, get their lower forms' ultimate moves as specials, and at one point I started thinking about how neat it'd be if the smaller Spirit Bomb got the same treatment. Then FighterZ made it happen!

There's a way to combo Yamcha's level 1 into spirit bomb that gives a safe jump and it isn't mentioned in the spreadsheet so I thought I'd let you know it exists since I use it all the time with my Yamcha and Baseku shell (might be height specific, but I've tried it on medium height characters and it worked). - Get sliding knockdown as Yamcha (midscreen or corner is OK) - Level 1 - 14747 (you need to have almost maximum possible delay between each hit of spirit ball. Very difficult to get at first but believe me it is still possible in season 3) - DHC into spirit bomb (press the assist button a frame or two after you input the last spirit ball hit, this will make Baseku show up to throw the spirit bomb before the last hit of spirit ball connects. If the last hit of spirit ball connects before Baseku shows up, it will not work) - Airdash as soon as you can so you land closer to your opponent - When you touch the ground, IAD into jH and that's the safe jump Thanks so much for these resources, I actually learned about a spirit ball into spirit bomb corner 50/50 from your spreadsheet that I didn't know about before, so I thought I'd contribute my knowledge in return.

you can timestamp stuff to show up in the scrubber bar if you format it like this in the video description 0:00 is the most important bit. It would look like this for this video Try copying this into this video description to see what I mean. 0:00 Intro 0:17 Buttons 1:37 Specials 3:00 Assists 3:38 Supers 5:06 Blockstrings 5:51 BNB's 9:10 Extensions 11:12 TOD's

I've tried this with the third guide I made all the way back then. The problem is that the other timestamps I have for the combos mess with that feature, and I'm sure a chapter has a minimum length so I cant have both. Unless you know how to have both Chapters and additional timestamps for the combos I'm afraid I can't do much. I have just gotten an idea that might work which I'll try later.

Hello! I'm new to fighting games, and I found this tutorial which seems to have everything I need to know. So I made it to the 5:39 Midscreen jS extension, which I was practicing, until I made it to the 7L part. After I did the 7l, I did another light, and then the special, but when I tried to do the triple light to finish the combo, I was still in the special move animation and couldn't attack. I'm assuming I did something about the delay wrong, so can somebody please explain to me how exactly the delay works? I noticed the delay appears in pretty much every character tutorial and I don't know what to do. It seems that mastering the delay is necessary in order to do cooler combos overall.
@TinyTorgue4 жыл бұрын
Delay varies on combos and it's pretty hard to explain how much delay is needed. For that specific combo it's a little bit less than max delay I'd say.
