This guy is right. He knows his stuff. People who can hit with power on inside, outside pitches are 'real' hitters. These real hitters hit the ball 'square'. Hooking and slicing is not ideal. A slight backspin is the perfect angle. Good video.

Hitting the ball out in front will help you get good backspin and ideal launch angle if done right

I like the drills but on the inside pitch 1/2 swing it looked like you were swinging around the ball to me
