Karl Ravech and Dave Campbell host Baseball Tonight prior to the 1998 trade deadline. The big mover of the season (yet to be revealed) was to be Randy Johnson, who was going to be traded from the Seattle Mariners to the Houston Astros in one of the biggest blockbuster deals of the decade. On a lighter note, the Montreal Expos still exist.
**Up until recently, I've been downloading my personal VHS collection. However, the collection is obviously limited. I started a Patreon page to better find and purchase old VHS videos on EBAY and other websites, as well as at garage sales and other locations that might have VHS available, so I can upload them for all to see and share for free. See it here: / tombombadil

Ah yes the golden age of espn when the anchors and reporters had personality and class and actually showed highlights..now I dont know what the hell it is it reminds me of how great mtv was back in the 80's and 90's now it's a shell of what it once was

Listen to the background music at 7:21, 11:52, and the ESPN update at 12:53! Wow I can’t believe this was 20 years ago. I remember watching the highlights just like ESPN used to do with NFL Primetime and when the background music played as such you knew it was a good game or exciting one. Karl Ravech, Bill Pidto, Boomer, heck even Brian Kenny with his “One run will score! Two runs will score!” Man this was the best Baseball show to watch. Too bad ESPN messed this show up (and Sportscenter) for corporate greed and advertising dollars. Dave “Soup” Campbell, Ray Knight, even Harold Reynolds was on this show too. Thanks for the upload!
