Go pick up the USA 2018 Easton Ghost x 2PC or 1 piece composite I'd almost bet you this sleeper is right up there if not better Also that hype fire where that broke like that it's the compression ring. That's what they put in the bat to make it so it doesn't overperform. The ADV has that too my son broke his exactly the same after 2 years of use doing BP right before an all star game. He had the red, white and blue version, all the kids thought he was so cool when it basically exploded!

Good video. I coach a lot of little league and have had kids use all of these. One major bat missing: Rawlings ICON. I think it’s the hottest USA Bat out there right now. We had one kid on the team with it and by the end of the season the whole team was using it. Also, STAY AWAY FROM THE EASTON ADV, particularly in the -10/11. Worst durability of any bats my kids have ever owned and we’ve been through multiple BBCOR Voodoo Ones. ADV is the worst by a mile.

Select PWR all day. Both of my boys moved from voodoo 1 to select pwr. Takes a bit to adjust but when they do, it’s a drastic change.

I could have told you before the video that the select power was gonna hit bombs. My son used the 2020 version of it, -10 and then later we got a used 2019 -8 and both were awesome. 31 inch and then 32 inch.

Having been steeped in USA for awhile. The Select is King. But a 29in10 is 20.9oz. My 11yo uses a 29in Select -10&-8, my 10yo uses the Bonesaber Hybrid. My experience 1.Select or Bonesaber Hybrid 2. -10 Prime, Icon, Glow Stick, Ghost X with the exception of the Icon they are cheap used and perform well. 3.Voodoo, Cat X connect 4. ADV360 or DS 5 Beast X or Fuse. Same bat The bats to stay away from are the ADV1 by far the worst price to performance, followed by the Green Meta.

At this age sting is way more of an issue to kids. When parents ask me I typically say used if you don't want to spend more than a $100, used Prime, GhostX, or Select if they are strong. New, Bonesaber Hybrid. It's just the lightest and so forgiving.

Preciate the content, been waiting for this…saw a few others that kinda did the USA bats, but not the Bat Bro’s way 🤷‍♂️ Only thing I really missed in this vid was the USA Rawlings Icon, it’s been in the top 3 USA bat lists since 2023; it has the huge sweet spot (like the PWR Select) with the balanced swing weight (like the Bone Saber hybrid), and they always compare close to each other in pop (with the icon winning quite a few of those encounters). Makes me feel happy to finally see the USA bat showdown, but still incomplete because a main contender wasn’t part of it.

Thank you for this video. You don't know how many times parents buy their kids usa bats based off usssa recommendations. The hype fire has an issue with the restrictor ring being too stiff whereas the barrel wall was super flexible. The USA test and official bbcor test are a little different but the performance requirement is exactly the same. I like to tell parents not to invest too much into usa bats since the difference in performance is negligible

Also, dont invest full price in a new USA bat because your kid is gonna change so much so fast. After 6 months a kid will have went through 3 different bat changes because of advancement in his growth and Skill level.

Compare the 2018 Rawlings Quattro to those new bats. Lots of players at the LLWS continue to use them every year, despite Easton giving them their newest model free.

My Experience it is overrated. My son is a Power hitter. We had a Select Power as well it Destroyed the Quattro. We sold it on eBay got like $475. Last year for it. Cool looking bat though.

Main takeaway should be: get a Hybrid. Avoid composites for the most part and avoid 1-piece bats in the lighter drop weights - especially in cold weather
