So, can the pitcher jump ALL the way to home plate before actually pitching the ball? Ludicrous.

It sure is. I played in the 70's. This stuff today is ridiculous.

@@baseballebm I think that it is pretty clear that both feet are in the air on every pitch. Is that rule just not strictly enforced?

​@@baseballebm In WBSC fastpitch, the pitcher is allowed to leap. Meaning he or she is allowed to have both feet off the ground.
